Maria is a professional IATSE 706 Motion Picture Make up Artist born in Caracas, Venezuela and based in Los Angeles, CA.

 

As second generation make up artist, her love for the industry started at the early age, as she was inspired by her uncle legacy in the industry. Her love for make up started by seeing her uncle making beauty with each stroke of his brush that inspire her love for art.  At this point, she saw her life as a creative artist, loving anything that relate to painting. 

 

She moved to US in 1997 and immediately enrolled into cosmetology school at the Mitchell's Beauty School in North Carolina. Maria graduated as a cosmetology and start working as a Hairstylist and Make up Artist in the salon industry.

 

In 2003, she moved to Orlando, FL to work in the amusement parks as make up artist until she realize she need it to fulfill her dream to become a Hollywood make up artist.

 

Maria moved to Los Angeles in 2004 and enrolled at the Make up Designory School (MUD) on the Master Make up Program. Shortly after graduation, Maria ability to accentuate natural beauty, as well to express her creative through her SFX skills, which it was the gift that brought her to land her first big job, TV Series called "Veronica Mars" where she spend 4 years of her life working with people that became their dear friends for live. Since then her career has not stopped!

 

Maria enjoys every minute of her career, working with such of talented people, on set of TV Shows, Films, Commercials and Red Carpets.
